a few of us pondering this - well done, FranJust back from the pottery. Catching up with maintenance again today (there's so much to do!). But was able to enjoy some vitamin D while working outside. Here’s a snapshot of some of the pots I have in stock at the moment.
Please do get in touch if you or anyone you know might be interested in purchasing anything from the pottery at the moment. If you live in Purbeck, especially between Corfe Castle and Swanage I can deliver free of charge to your doorstep. I will of course keep well out of your way when doing so.
That's one of Tony Kerins' paintings in the background too. Also for sale. ...

The good news and the bad news… This painting titled ‘She liked bubbles’ is the second that was selected for the Royal Watercolour Society exhibition at Bankside Gallery, London. It was also short-listed for the Cass Art Watercolour Prize. (We can confirm that while it bears a striking resemblance to Tony Viney, it isn’t him!)
Unfortunately, en route back from London via courier, the country was put into lockdown so it is currently stuck in Bere Regis waiting for freedom of movement to return.
Another bit of good news, we can also confirm that the lockdown is having no effect whatsoever on Tony Kerins’ creative output. ...

yep... Tricky times - it's not just loss of sales, it's not being able to produce more work as well...And in the other news... This was happening just as everything was about to change in such a big way. Yes, the pottery now has a new window upstairs in the showroom. I look forward to the novelty of being able to open it easily (handy when I'm firing the kiln) and no leaks.
Meanwhile, back at home I've somehow survived and even enjoyed a week of home schooling, much to my surprise! (Although it has had its moments too! Respect to all teachers...) Highlights have got to be P.E. in the garden and further afield. Kite flying was my son's favourite for sure. The good weather has helped!
Not quite sure how the next few weeks and months are going to pan out and where pottery fits into the picture with the government restrictions and extra demands on my time but I'll keep you posted. ...
