To The Lighthouse
A creative journey from the Boilerhouse Gallery To The Lighthouse – 2016
We were delighted to be invited to exhibit at the Fine Foundation gallery at Durlston Castle in August 2016, and decided we would like to try a new approach, a group show inspired by a group experience.
Taking our inspiration from a Victorian carved stone sign in the grounds of Durlston Castle that points ‘to the lighthouse’ we decided to make our way as a group ‘from the Boilerhouse Gallery to the Lighthouse’, documenting our journey along the way, and then creating individual work in response.
We are very proud of the ensuing exhibition – a cohesive multi-disciplined body of work born of a mutual experience, and an opportunity to explore a common theme and build creative relationships.
